About Me
I first became fascinated by photography when I was in middle school. I loved being "wow'd" by an image, and it instantly made me want to produce the same results. I got my first SLR camera shortly thereafter, a Pentax ME Super. With my first camera, I was constantly reading and experimenting trying to figure out how to work each aspect of the camera and learning how focal length, aperture, and ASA (equivalent to ISO in the digital world) would affect my photos. While learning about my camera, I got a job at the local camera store developing film and learning as much as I could from the professional photographers who worked there. Unfortunately, my beloved Pentax broke on me, and I didn't have the money to fix it at 14 years old. It was at this point that my photography was put on hold until I could make the step into the digital world with a DSLR. | Once I was able to make the leap, I have been involved in many different types of photography to include Portraits (model photos, engagement photos, etc), product showcasing, and landscape photography. Approach
Photography is capturing a moment in time. Whether it's a portrait trying to capture an emotion, or a landscape painted by mother nature, it is that moment in time that will forever be caught by the camera lens. The fine details of that very moment can make or break a great image, and its that constant strive for capturing the perfect moment which can be the subject of a story that motivates me to take great photos.
